CARAMEL CUSTARD flan/ Leche Flan Recipe HomeMade
Just opt Mascarpone if Available or just use Condensedmilk
You'll need: (good for 4 servings )
* 200g Mascarpone or Condensed milk
* 6 Eggs (2 Whole eggs, 4 Yolks)
* Vanilla or lemon extract
* 1 c fresh milk or evaporated
Caramel syrup:
* 1/2 cup white sugar dissolve in 3/4 cup water
Procedure :
1.First step you'll need to prepare Caramel syrup. Bring to boil your dissolve sugar over medium high heat, until it turns Syrup (slightly stir while cooking) (for atleast 7 to 10 min.) Remove from heat and Pour in half or 1 inch thick syrup in the Flan Molder (coat the bottom of the pan well) LET it Cool
2. Combine Mascarpone or Condensed milk, eggs and Vanilla. Beat in high speed or Manually till there's no lumpy bits. Strain the mixture 2 times. THEN pour over in the caramelized sugar in flan molder.
3. YOU can steam or Bake it, both works the same. You'll need to cover first with aluminum foil. If you opt for bake. just set 180 ° c for 45 min or til tester comes out clean. (MAKE sure PLACE your Flan mixture / Molder in the Another Baking Pan with 1/2 Cup of water.)
4: run a knife around the edge of the Pan and carefully invert onto a serving Plate. (to unmold should be completely cooled. set 20 min. To 1 hour)
