EASY Buko Pie Recipe|| Made with Young Coconut||Pie
#BukoPie ❤️ HI everyone! THANKS for Have interest in My recipe. Hoping you'll enjoy this easy yet so delicious "Buko Pie" I made.
2 1/2 c All purpose flour
1/2 c warm milk
1/2 tsp. Instant yeast
1/2 c butter or Lard
1/2 c sugar
Filling: 1 1/2 Buko (juice included)
1/4 c Potato starch
Vanilla extract or lemon zest
1/4 c sugar or Condensed milk
Eggwash (yolk+Tbsp milk)

Procedure:
Crust:
1. Activate yeast using warm milk + 2 tsp sugar set aside 2 min until bubbling or you can mix instant dry yeast too derictly in the dry ingredients. BOTH process work the same.
2. IN a mixing Bowl, Mix all dry Ingredients, gradually add yeast mixture mix until well combined.. THEN add melted butter or Lard. MIX, roll and Knead until smooth texture. Rest 1 1/2 hr to 2 hrs.
3. After the dough rested. Divide into two equal parts then flatten using rolling pin. Flatten as your preferred thickness. After, the crust flattened Put in the baking pan with parchment paper or just grease a Lil bit oil, Fill crust with Buko filling, with the help of spatula levelled the filling then Cover on top with the second crust. Pinch both edges to close well, Using fork poke on top of crust to have Lil holes, and then brush with egg wash.
Filling:
JUST simmer Buko strips or bite size including the juice, for about 7 min. Add all remaining ingredients. Make sure to delute cornstarch in a cold water or milk. Then, Pour Gradually while keep stirring constantly until Filling thickens. Cook at low heat to avoid burning at the bottom.
Note: (Filling don't need to be cooled completely, you can use as soon as your done preparing the crust.)
